Mrs. Lopez keeps up to date with current practices to better serve her clients. Suncoast Speech Therapy wants to foster improved communication with adults and children with communication disorders.
Mrs. Lopez provides evaluations that will pinpoint the nature of the communication disorder and together we can develop an individualized plan of care,that will increase functional communication skills and allow children to reach their full potential and allow adults to develop strategies to improve their quality of life. Our approach is to collaborate with families and other providers to achieve the client’s full potential and celebrate their success.
Mrs. Lopez and Suncoast Speech Therapy will provide compassionate care and develop goals that are specific to each client. Here at Suncoast Speech Therapy, we utilize a client centered approach with focus on beginning where each client is successful then building upon those skills. We want to provide the highest quality service and allow our clients to enjoy the process while addressing their communication disorders and achieving their goals.
We offer screenings to determine if a formal evaluation should be completed.
A formal evaluation will be completed to determine the nature and severity of the communication disorder. A complete evaluation report will be provided along with a standard score and goals for the client.
An individualized plan of care will be developed and clients will participate in therapy sessions based on their goals. Length and duration of sessions are based on the client’s specific area of need.
